How about instead of giving everyone free health care, we pressure the pill manufacturers to make everything cheaper.
I don't know how many people know this, but there is anywhere from a 200%-1000% raise in price between how much it cost to make the medication, and how much it is sold for.
They really don't need that much money. I don't see a problem with this solution...Discuss.

Well, I don't know too much on the subject. I think that you might be right- they probably don't need that money. They sure do probably want it, though. I'd be willing to bet that they want it hard. Changing the amount of one income changes all of the others beneath it. Right? It could screw up their whole business.
Beside that, they probably don't see any reason to lower the prices because these items are still being purchased at their current prices.
But, if you don't care about what the companies or their employees think, you still have to think about the fact that it isn't a pharmaceutical company that provides the 'free' health care. It would be the government that would ask for the tax money. So are you saying that the government should demand that they should lower their prices? That might cause some problems. The companies lose when their products cost less. Right? But do they have any thing to gain from fully tax paid health care?
